Fire Destroys 20 Houses in Burma Camp, Cause Still Unknown

Dimapur, March 30: A devastating fire broke out in Burma Camp around 4:30 AM on March 29, reducing approximately 20 houses to ashes. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

The affected houses, all made of bamboo, were home to non-Naga laborers who relied on daily wages for their livelihood. Fortunately, the swift response from the fire department prevented the blaze from spreading to neighboring houses.

Authorities are investigating the incident, while affected families have been left homeless and in urgent need of assistance.
