Dimapur, March 22: A fire broke out in Zakiesato Colony, Ward-2, around 9 AM, reportedly due to a short circuit. The blaze led to the explosion of two gas cylinders, but fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

The affected house was mostly occupied by laborers, who were away at work when the incident occurred. Quick response from the fire department prevented the fire from spreading further, saving nearby houses from damage. Authorities are assessing the extent of the loss while urging residents to take necessary precautions against fire hazards.
